APPLICATION

To activate your child's admission folder, submit a completed application. You can request an application from the Admissions Office, complete one online, or download and print your own copy. You will receive an acknowledgment from the Admissions Office once your completed application has been received.

STUDENT SCREENING AND VISITS

In December families who have an application on file will be contacted for a screening appointment for their child(ren). Applicants interested in Pre-K and K are given 45-minute individual appointments. Applicants seeking entry into Grades One through Four are scheduled into half days that are comprised of a classroom visit and group screening. Applicants seeking entry into Grades Five through Eight visit classes for the day and are hosted by Brookwood students. Individual screening occurs on the day of these visits.

COMPLETED FOLDER

Once a screening appointment has been made, the applicant receives a letter confirming the date and time of the screening. Also mailed are teacher recommendations forms and transcript release requests forms for those seeking entrance into Grades two through Eight. We request the completion of these forms by February 15th for a March 10 decision. Applications received after February 1st will be considered on a "rolling admissions" basis and will be considered as space allows. Once the Admissions Office receives all of the above, a folder is considered complete.

ADMISSION DECISIONS

The Admissions Committee reviews all completed folders and applicants are notified by March 10th. We ask families to notify us of their intent no later than April 10th.
