The Brookwood Faculty
School-Based Master's in Education Programs 2007-2008:
A Master's Degree program offered in coordination with the Lesley University Graduate School of Education, our School-based Master's in Education Program is unique to the North Shore. As graduate students and Teachers-in-Training, interns are thoroughly immersed in the practice of teaching. Energetic and committed teachers work together with interns, creating an extraordinary learning environment for both teachers and students. "Interns bring to our campus the latest teaching methods and philosophies and share them with our faculty and students," comments Robert Kay, director of the School-based Master's in Education Program. The School-based Master's in Education Program supports our mission of academic achievement, reinforcing our efforts to provide individualized learning by highly qualified teachers.
Three types of Teacher Licensure and three different courses of study are available: Early Childhood, Elementary and Middle School. The Middle School program is subject-specific (English, History, Math and Science).
