Grade 7 Art Assignments

In seventh grade the children have one or two homework assignments a month. Assignments are directly related to what we are working on in class, so it is important that assignments are done and handed in when they are due. The perimeters of each assignment are briefly reviewed and discussed in class. Homework is always posted online on the Team 7 website. In addition, hard copies of assignments are always available in the art room.

Art Curriculum

The eighth grade art curriculum is focused on helping the students to develop a more comprehensive, working knowledge of basic art elements and principles. While practicing and working on continued skill development and acquisition of knowledge concerning art theory, students are encouraged to be actively engaged in their own learning by taking risks with their work, asking questions, initiating conversations, and making connections.
