The purpose of the Brookwood School Parents’ Association (PA) is to serve as a liaison between parents and faculty, the Board of Trustees and the Administration, as well as to support the School’s mission, programs and activities. The Parents’ Association raises and provides funds for student and teacher training scholarships and financial aid and contributes funds directly to the School’s operating budget to help keep tuition as low as possible. Additionally, the PA funds an array of cultural enrichment programs, faculty wish list items, faculty grants and a diverse forum of speakers and parent education programs, intended to enrich and enhance the entire Brookwood community. All Brookwood parents are automatically members of the Parents’ Association.
Each year the Parents’ Association runs or supports several school-wide and divisional events. Highlights include the All School Picnic; Brookwood on Ice, a family skating event open to all Brookwood families; and the annual Spring Fundraiser.
