Please join Head of School Laura Caron for this year's first Parent Coffee & Conversation on Wednesday, November 2 from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. in the Liston Commons.
In her continued effort to hear from and get to know our parent community, this casual gathering will allow time for mingling among friends, old and new, followed by a conversation facilitated by Laura on issues of importance to the group. Hope to see you there!

Brookwood's November 5 Tech-Know Faire
Calling tinkerers, makers, and inventors! Mark your calendars for Brookwood's first ever Tech-Know Faire
on Saturday, November 5
from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Organized around the notion of "Designing for Purpose," this event for makers of all ages will feature a two-hour morning of fun and educational, hands-on projects, each with a unique benefit to the community. Maker-spaces, 3-D printing, and invention booths are just some of the exciting opportunities for kids.
The Tech-Know Faire is free and open to the public so spread the word and invite family and friends. Join us and be a part of this great family event!

project Dr. Oettinger is collecting 20-ounce Gatorade bottles. Collection boxes are in the slate lobby and by the athletic fields.
Also, Ms. Dawe is collecting plastic water bottles for another project. Please bring them to the collection box near the Grade 1 classrooms. Thank you!
Time to order students' school pictures
Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of your order. Another important date to keep in mind is December 4, 2016, which is the last day to place an order and receive it in time for the holidays.
All Brookwood parents should have received an email on October 4 from our school photo company, Coffee Pond Photography. Per the email's instructions, to see your child's portraits please visit Coffeepond and click on the "Order Central" tab. In the drop down menu select "School Portraits" and follow the instructions. You will be prompted to enter your assigned password in order to see your child's portraits.
