Launching in summer 2026, Inspire expands Summer at Brookwood with an academic morning option that blends skill-building with hands-on summer learning.
Whether you would like your child to practice key skills they learned during the school year or apply their skills in a new context, the Inspire branch of Summer at Brookwood will engage multi-aged campers with themed-based approaches to skill building in both math and literacy classes each morning.
Inspire campers will join the AM Day Campers at Summer at Brookwood for our fun-filled community-building morning meeting each day before heading off to two skill-building classes. Their morning wraps up with lunch and recess with our AM Day Campers.
Inspire campers can end their day at noon or join one of our afternoon programs at Summer at Brookwood. If your Inspire camper participates in an afternoon program at Manchester Sailing, we can provide mid-day transportation to Tuck’s Point. This year, we will also provide 3PM transportation to select MSA programming for Summer at Brookwood campers enrolled in a PM Specialty Camp or PM Day Camp.

Language Arts Instructor: Katie Swanton
Math Instructor: Elise Koretz

Through literacy adventures, students will enjoy read-alouds, mini-lessons, and writing workshops inspired by forests, wildlife, weather, and exploration. They’ll create nature journals, design trail guides, write adventure stories, and build vocabulary as they explore different outdoor habitats.
Our math explorations might include measuring like real field scientists, solving animal-themed word problems, designing campground maps using geometry, analyzing data from nature scavenger hunts, and tackling outdoor-inspired math games that build confidence and critical-thinking skills.
With a blend of creativity, problem-solving, and adventurous learning, this camp helps students strengthen foundational literacy and math skills while discovering the wonders of the great outdoors.
Join us for a week of exploration, imagination, and academic growth—where every child is a reader, a mathematician, and an adventurer!
