Dr. Michael G. Thompson invites parents to see school through a child’s eyes. Drawing on decades of research and time spent in classrooms, he explores the inner journey children travel from kindergarten through adolescence; their search for belonging, recognition, and a sense of agency. With wisdom and compassion, he offers perspective and practical guidance to help parents support their children not just toward achievement, but toward confidence and well-being in a complex world.
