Dear Families,
Few days on our calendar capture the spirit of Brookwood quite like Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day. Tomorrow, we look forward to welcoming beloved grandparents, family friends, and special guests to campus for a morning filled with connection, curiosity, and shared joy. Watching students proudly guide the important adults in their lives through classrooms, performances, and familiar hallways is one of the sweetest traditions of the year.
Beyond the activities themselves, the day carries something deeper. It is a celebration of the relationships that help shape our students long before they ever walk through Brookwood’s doors. Throughout the morning, our campus fills with stories, laughter, memories, and the unmistakable energy that comes from generations gathering together in one place.
Earlier this week, you and any registered guests received an email with details about the schedule and logistics for the day. I wanted to take a moment to reiterate those below to help ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible for the over 300 guests joining us on Friday.
On this particular day at Brookwood, we ask that parents not attend this event, allowing students and their guests to fully enjoy the morning together. There is something especially meaningful about children having the opportunity to host the people who mean so much to them, and we appreciate your help in making that possible.
We are excited to welcome our guests to campus and to share a little glimpse of everyday life at Brookwood through the eyes of our students.
Warmly,
Jon Bartlett
