As part of their study of food insecurity, Brookwood’s kindergarten students have been learning about the challenges many families face and the organizations that help support our community. Now, they are putting their learning into action by hosting a “Food Drive for Everyone!” to benefit The Open Door Food Pantry.
The food drive runs from Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 29. Families are invited to donate non-perishable food items (please, no glass containers). Donations may be brought directly to the kindergarten classrooms or placed in the drop-off bins located at Lower School and Upper School pick-up and drop-off areas.
Kindergarteners are hoping to collect at least 100 items. Thank you for helping support this important community effort!
