Dr. Sid Adams, Coordinator of Community and Belonging and Performing Arts Teacher

Since joining Brookwood in 2021, Dr. Sid Adams has brought warmth, creativity, and deep care to his work as a performing arts educator. Next year, Sid will expand his role to serve as Brookwood’s Community and Belonging Coordinator while continuing to teach performing arts. This work connects closely to his doctoral research in Human Development and Learning, which focused on adolescent identity development and inclusive educational practices that help students feel seen, valued, and supported. Sid will also serve as part of Brookwood’s Community and Belonging Team, working in partnership with Elise Koretz and Erica Pernell, an outside consultant we’ve worked with for years whose work focuses on equity, justice, and inclusion in schools and organizations. In this role, Sid will help support a thoughtful, connected, and inclusive experience for students, families, and employees across the school.

Tasha Anderson, Grade 2 Teacher

After joining Brookwood as a teaching apprentice and then stepping into Grade 2 this year, Tasha Anderson will continue as a Grade 2 lead teacher next year. A proud Brookwood alumna, Tasha brings creativity, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for childhood exploration to her classroom. Her work is grounded in inclusive, inquiry-based teaching that encourages students to take risks, discover joy in learning, and feel known and supported.

Elise Koretz, Director of Teaching and Learning

Since joining Brookwood in 2005, Elise Koretz has been a respected teacher, mentor, and curricular leader across the Lower School. After guiding Brookwood through the AISNE self-study process and supporting Lower School curriculum work this year, Elise will transition into the role of Director of Teaching and Learning following the conclusion of accreditation in October 2026. In this full-school role, she will help oversee curriculum scope, sequence, and cohesion, supporting faculty in creating strong, intentional, and connected learning experiences for students across Brookwood.

David Saunders, Director of Innovation, Changemaking, and Technology

David Saunders will continue his work as Director of Leadership, Changemaking, and Technology, with an expanded role overseeing Brookwood’s technology program. In addition to leading Changemaking, David is now responsible for both instructional technology and the operational systems that support the daily life of the school. He has already begun this work by evaluating Brookwood’s current technology practices and developing updated technology principles and philosophy, which will be formalized and shared next school year. This expanded role will help bring greater clarity, cohesion, and purpose to the ways technology supports teaching, learning, operations, and Brookwood’s broader mission.

Tiffany Wilson, EC2 Teacher

Tiffany Wilson will join the EC2 team next year as a co-lead teacher, returning to the early childhood work that first brought her to Brookwood in 2020. Tiffany’s warmth, creativity, and steady care are especially well suited to this joyful and foundational stage of learning, where relationships, play, language, independence, and discovery are at the heart of each day. Her experience across the Lower School will bring valuable perspective to EC2, and we are excited for the many ways she will help our youngest students feel known, confident, and ready to grow.
