Winter Weather - Health Office Reminders

The frosty mornings and colder temperatures have arrived. To safely enjoy ample outdoor time throughout the winter months, we ask for your partnership in ensuring students come to school in weather appropriate attire. Please review our cold weather protocols for outdoor recess and after school outdoor play:

• Temperatures 30 degrees or below including wind chill: students are required to wear a winter coat and long pants while outdoors. A hat, winter boots, gloves or mittens are strongly encouraged.
• Temperatures 10 degrees or below including wind chill: All students will remain indoors for recess time
• If a student is not dressed appropriately for the weather, they will not be able to participate in outdoor recess/after school outdoor play.
